With more than 20 years of experience in software development, including nearly 11 years at Episerver (now Optimizely), Allan has worked across a wide range of roles – from developer and architect to trainer, product manager and team lead.
Since 2018, he has been running CodeArt, helping companies build and evolve solutions on the Optimizely platform, often combining strong technical foundations with a focus on real-world usability.
In recent years, his work has increasingly centered around AI-driven development. This led to the founding of umage.ai, where Allan now focuses on building practical AI solutions and helping companies integrate AI into their existing systems and workflows in a way that actually creates value.
He is particularly interested in how modern development practices are changing with AI, and how to apply these technologies in a pragmatic way – without overcomplicating things.
